Gordon Achivement Center offers the following classes throughout the summer.

GETTING READY FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL

Designed for 5th graders entering Middle School. Students will learn everything they need to know to make their 6th grade year a successful one.  The information will allow the students to feel enthusiastic and confident about starting Middle School.

Classes are held Monday through Thursday, one hour each day.

CHOOSE YOUR CLASS FROM ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WEEKS BELOW:

CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TIMES:

10:30am to 11:30am OR 11:30am to 12:30pm OR 3:30pm to 4:30pm

PREPARING FOR A SUCCESSFUL SCHOOL YEAR

Designed for incoming 7th-12th graders. Students will learn a variety of organizational tips, such as, organizing a homework area at home, organizing backpack and binders, and knowing where to put completed homework so it can be turned in on time. Also included in the four day class are time management strategies, such as, using a large calendar to make a study/project plan, as well as some basic study skills. This is the perfect class for any student who wants to start off the school year on the right foot!

Classes are held Monday through Thursday, one hour each day.

GETTING READY FOR HIGH SCHOOL

Designed for incoming 9th graders. Unlike the other two classes, this class will be conducted in a seminar-like setting over two evenings.  Students attending the seminar will be taught a variety of tips and strategies that will help them make a smooth transition from middle school to high school.

Classes are available at the following dates and times
July 20th & 21st
OR
August 10th & 11th

7:00PM - 9:00PM
